icy cold sea mist
cleaves to barren rocky shore;
ahead shifting shapes

round the twisting bend
past the old village marker;
dead fox lays by verge

open kitchen blinds
coffee ceremony starts;
grind beans, pour water . . .

donkey's big brown eyes
peer over the chipped stone wall;
waiting to turn right

the wolf moon bringing
stormy seas and angry waves;
inside car in awe
