sun warms a little

steps out of doorway

robin sits waiting
staring through kitchen window
expecting breadcrumbs

cheeky robin sits

wagtail peeks from under car
beats a quick retreat

almost celestial sunshine

dalmatian trots by

on coastal pathway
black cat hides between the rocks
after storm venture

a windswept graveyard
 pleading statues look out, up
 guarding narrow path

sunny winter's day
cold Atlantic waves roll in
mystical silence
