Dusk – Haiku

the bare trees stand still
amidst listless winter sky;
dusk's amber flicker

remembrance bench
one person sits all alone;
fading memories

December sunshine
lights up the skeleton tree;
solitary leaf

back of the bread bin
forgotten focaccia ;
magpies,crows,wagtails . . .

mystic morning mist
phantom shadows pass by gate;
kitchen light flickers

black cat's bell tinkling
as she scents garden's border;
robin well hidden

outside it's raining;
fly wanders around inside
car's interior

traffic lights at night
white paper cup oscillates;
waiting to go green

last days of summer
breeze chases me around garden ;
where's my torn jumper ?

weekend gardener;
wheelbarrow of wet seaweed
struggles up slipway
