on a Sunday stroll
hidden down an avenue;
mortuary chapel

pinprick of sunlight trying
to warm up a rock

envelops the highway;
which way is west ?

sea haze lifts slowly
centimetre at a time;
unveiling the bay

the clattering of jackdaws;
greets me this morning
