Amble -Haiku

soft Atlantic wind
waves tumbling fading away;
amble along shore

on the red bollard
wren singing short melody;
takes off,next venue

last night's rain remains;
oily reflections linger
in shallow puddles

out on the grey bay;
red fishing trawler putters
home,after long night

waiting for coffee
the daffodils catch my eye;
terracotta pots

after the sea storm
rocks inch higher up slipway
meadow pipit stares

light dusting of snow
disappears with coastal breeze;
back under duvet

breaking the silence
growling motorcycle starts;
my shattered daydreams

line of lifeless trees
down the avenue of fog;
brake lights flickering

the foggy sunshine
dewdrop pearls hang from grass blades;
cat sits on doorstep
